At Grasshoppers, each student must undergo a belt test before being promoted to the next rank.  The purpose of the belt test is to allow the student to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities gained at their current belt level.

Grasshoppers instructors will evaluate each student prior to the scheduled belt test to determine if they are ready to move to the next rank and would be good candidates to challenge the test.

During our belt tests, family and friends are welcomed in the training area as spectators to witness the results of all the hard work that each student has put into the preparation for their promotion.
